Alnôbaiwi (which roughly translates to ‘In the Abenaki Way’) is a 501-c3 non-profit organization whose members include inter-tribal indigenous citizens, friends, and allies. We are a diverse group whose members have come together to participate in living history, song, dance, gardening, fellowship and ceremony; all while creating content for the Vermont Indigenous Heritage Center to preserve the knowledge of Vermont Abenaki culture for generations to come. Over the past few years we have made great strides building a library of content with a vision of one day building a ‘brick and mortar’ Vermont Indigenous Heritage Center.
